Compressed Air Applications in Textile Industry

Circular and Flat Knitting Machines
During the fabrication of technical textiles, loose dirt and fly are generated. This debris is efficiently extracted by the powerful vacuum of a side-channel blower and deposited into a collection reservoir.

Fabric Cutting Tables
To facilitate the precise positioning of heavy bolts of cloth, an air cushion is generated through a perforated tabletop. Once positioned, a vacuum is activated to securely hold the material in place for accurate processing.

Steam Treatment of Yarn
Yarn wound on spools often has a curled profile that hinders further processing. Steam is applied to the material, relaxing the molecular structure and smoothing the fibers to make the threads perfectly straight.

Draining and Drying of Dyed Carpeting
After the dyeing process, water-saturated carpeting is passed over a suction roller to be gently dried. The vacuum pump draws air through an adjustable slot, extracting approximately eighty percent of the remaining moisture.

Power Air Looms
To streamline the bobbin changing process, thread ends are automatically drawn in and tensioned by vacuum. Upon completion of the weaving cycle, the fabric's edge is vacuumed to prevent loose threads from being dragged back into the shed.
