Pakistan's Pioneer in Independent Compressed Air Auditing
Imtiaz Ali Rastgar founded AirAudit in 2011 with a clear and deliberate purpose: to build Pakistan’s first independent, standards-based compressed air auditing practice — one entirely free from the commercial conflicts of OEM-affiliated service providers. Over thirteen years, that founding conviction has shaped every audit methodology, every report, and every client relationship the firm has built.
Under his leadership, AirAudit developed and certified its audit methodology to ISO 11011 — the international standard for compressed air system energy assessment — and became a member of the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS). The firm has delivered more than 250 industrial audits across Pakistan’s most energy-intensive manufacturing sectors, consistently identifying compressed air savings averaging 15–27% of client energy bills.
Imtiaz now leads AirAudit’s international expansion programme, with active market development underway in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bangladesh. His writing draws directly on field experience across textiles, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, automotive, cement, and petrochemical industries — translating complex system engineering into operational decisions manufacturers can act on.
A member of NIC Islamabad’s Cohort-5 and a registered enterprise on the IGNITE National Startup Portal, he remains an active participant in Pakistan’s industrial innovation community, and a member of GPCCI (Germany-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry).
